You should be interested in Lane Kennedy, she is a dynamic person who works with children in San Francisco. I suspect you may be thinking why is Lane so impressive? Well, let me tell you. Lane works with these kids, giving them not only the basics for a career but the knowledge they need to be successful in anything they put their minds to do. Lane instructs these young adults on a “healthy you,” proper diets, healthy skin care (even in those “acne” years), and most of all to gain confidence in one’s self to achieve any goal.
My 12 year old daughter has been under the guidance of Lane for a year now and I have seen her grow not only as a model but as a person. My daughter now has the confidence to do class presentations and, more importantly, she knows the importance of maintaining good grades while trying to achieve her goals.
I hope you will find the time to meet Lane, I am confident that you will be impressed with her, not only as a person but as someone truly interested in helping today’s youth succeed in LIFE.

I’m so excited to share with parents my daughter’s experience with Lane Kennedy’s More Than A Model -Creating Model Citizens! class. Let me start off by saying I’m a CPA with a 7 year old daughter in Catholic School. Modeling class wasn’t something I had planned for my daughter. When the opportunity arose I thought this might be something fun, my daughter loves dressing up.
I quickly learned that Lane’s class was sooo much more than looking pretty and posing for pictures. After the first class my daughter came home talking about eating healthy. Lane challenged my daughter to think about the environment, how she could make a difference through charity, and developed her public speaking skills.
I want parents to know that even though they don’t see the entertainment business in their children’s future, Lane Kennedy’s More Than A Model Class has so much more to offer than simply training for the entertainment industry. My daughter has been selected to present at school programs and appear at other public events. I can see her confidence and poise in presenting herself, and have heard the same from the teaching and administrative staff at her school.
I’ve heard people in the business world say their biggest fear is speaking in front of groups and I think one of the best ways we can help our children overcome this fear in their school life, is to expose them to Lane’s methods.
I have no hesitation in saying that Lane Kennedy has been a positive role model for my daughter and that anyone can see that Lane loves what she does.

My name is Natalya and I would like to tell a story about my daughter’s amazing transformation after she took a teen modeling/life course with Lane Kennedy at: More Than a Model-Creating Model Citizens!
Lane taught her students how to walk, what to eat, how to create healthy lifestyle choices, how to talk with clients and professional people, how to pose for photo shoots with emotion, how to dress appropriately for jobs and life, and how to take care of their hair and skin. That’s A LOT!
At first glance, it seemed that Lane was just doing what she was supposed to do, but the result was incredible. Even after a first session, I realized that my daughter who grew up as a very shy child, became more self-positive and enthusiastic. It was obviously seen because she often thought negatively about herself even though being a pretty 16 year-old girl, she considered herself an ugly teenager. Her anxiety to perform in front of others was affecting her school work tremendously. She did not raise her hand in class and avoided asking a teacher for help with assignments she didn’t understand. She had only a few friends. I encouraged her to be more outgoing, but she often became just more withdrawn.
Despite all of those facts, Alek started to transform to a new person, and Lane became a role model and a strong supporter for my daughter. She pushed and encouraged my daughter to be more optimistic and think the best of herself and Alek followed those advises. Alek did not have any more doubt that she wouldn’t succeed! Her social skills improved vastly and the biggest thing that she learned from Lane is how to be confident and believe in herself. Lane is an amazing teacher because of her knowledge, unique style and passion for what she does. This positive change has opened a lot of doors for Alek in life and the modeling industry. Ford Modeling Agency in San Francisco has signed a three year contract with her after she attended an open call casting with them, on the advice from Lane. So far, she has done many job which include: The Christian Lacroix Spring Runaway show, Shu Uemura Hair Shows, Burberry Store Events, Amy Kuschel Bridal Collection, and recently she was in the Discarded to Divine 2008 Runaway Show and Auction here in San Francisco.
It’s great to say that my daughter has a teacher who made a difference in her life!!

Hello, my name is Edie and my 14 year old daughter recently completed a course with Lane. I would be glad to say that Lane shows the children how to behave in a professional atmosphere and what is really expected of them in today’s world. Not only does she work intensely with the children she is willing to work directly with the parents as well, educating us healthy living, green tips and the business of life. Lane and her staff provide a service to us here in Northern California that is so valuable, it’s all worth it! Lane, thanks for all that you did and all that you do!
